IONA Value Assessments are validated by the successes of IONA customers. Value Assessment Process

The Value Assessment Program identifies an average of over $10M that can be removed from the IT budget, and requires 40 hours of staff member's time. The steps include

  • Discovery - infrastructure review
  • Blueprint - value model development
  • Validate Approach - working prototype demonstration
  • Delivery - knowledge transfer
  • Validate Results - confirmation and quantification of value

Value Assessment Deliverables

All products of the Value Assessments remain the property of the client. Deliverables include

  • Project Roadmap - identified value opportunities
  • Reference Architecture - recommended architecture
  • Value Model - economic return calculated from client data

Value Assessment Timeline

Once approved by an executive sponsor, the Value Assessments requires only 40 hours of staff time and is completed within 30 calendar days. At the conclusion of 30 days, the results are presented to the sponsor during an executive briefing. The phases include:

  • Phase 1 - discovery process conducted on-site with client staff members and completed in 10-15 business days
  • Phase 2 - analysis, value identification and drafting of deliverables conducted by IONA off-site in 5 business days
  • Phase 3 - review, validation and finalization of deliverables conducted by IONA off-site in 5 business days
