UDDI v3 Support
Artix Registry/Repository 1.5 can publish services to a UDDI v3 registry. UDDI v3 allows users to control the publishing keys used by services and manage the publishing strategy. Artix Registry/Repository also includes a UDDI v2 registry server.
Versioning Support
Artix Registry/Repository 1.5 can now manage multiple versions of services and the metadata. The versioning scheme and semantics are configurable by the user. This release includes "Version Up" wizards that enforce best practices for managing multiple versions. Searching has been extended to include version-aware queries.
Upgrade and Migration Tools
The product is built on a rich data model that will need to change from time to time. Artix Registry/Repository 1.5 provides automatic migration of data between different versions of the product to give both IONA and the customer the agility to move rapidly when new features or bug fixes are made available.
Support for Name-Value Pairs
For customized attributes, users can extend their data with simple name-value pairs. These attributes can be used to improve searching or to enhance governance rules.
