SATYAM AND IONA SIGN STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP

Satyam Computer Services becomes latest systems integrator to join IONA's growing network of Alliance Partners

Waltham, MA and Mumbai, India - September 24, 2002 - IONA®, the leading e-Business platform provider for Web Services Integration (NASDAQ: IONA), and Satyam Computer Services, Ltd., a systems integration firm delivering end-to-end solutions, today announced that Satyam has entered into a Premier Partnership with IONA to deliver the Orbix E2A™ Web Services Integration and Application Server Platforms.

As a Premier Partner, Satyam will establish a Web Services Integration practice dedicated to the implementation of IONA Orbix E2A Platforms. Through this dedicated practice, Satyam Computer Services consultants will work with IONA to implement Orbix E2A as part of e-business integration solutions for the Telecommunications, Manufacturing, and Financial Services industries. Satyam and IONA will also engage in co-marketing activities as part of this alliance.
